NEW STUDENT / MEMBER ORIENTATION:
SUNDAY, MAY 5TH - 1-2PM

Our new student/member orientation is where you have the chance to ask questions about the studio.  Teachers and staff will be available to discuss class modalities, events, workshops, retreats, teacher training, and other studio offerings - like private lessons and the public-private lesson, as well as membership perks, like towel service, membership private lesson add-ons and nutrition counseling.  Learn how to get the most out of your time at Shiva Yoga and the benefits of becoming a monthly membership student.

HIKING CLUB:
SUNDAY, MAY 12TH - 1-4PM

Please join us for a fun hiking excursion every month. Bring comfortable shoes (hiking shoes or boots recommended), a water bottle, sunscreen, and make sure to wear comfortable clothing. Please register in advance and meet at the studio in reception. We will carpool from the studio to each location.

The group leader and hiking trail will change monthly. Want to share your favorite hike with the group? You could be the group leader next month and take us on your favorite trail.

*Shiva Yoga Hiking Club is only open to  our monthly membership students and their guests.  Thank you.

**We will leave from the studio at 1:15pm sharp, so please don’t be late!

MID-MONTH POTLUCK DINNER & COMMUNITY GATHERING:

SATSANG COMMUNITY GATHERING & PHILOSOPHY DISCUSSION:
SUNDAY, MAY 19TH  - 1 - 3PM

The word Satsang is derived from the Sanskrit language.  ‘Sat’ means “purity, truth, wisdom” and ‘Sang’ means “group, company, community”.  A Satsang might be described as a community gathering of those seeking the truth.

The Shiva Yoga Satsang Community Gathering and Philosophy Discussion is where you will have the chance to dive deeper into yoga philosophy and yoga theory.  We will explore the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and other yoga philosophy texts.  Deepen your knowledge, and connect with your fellow practitioners.

Bring something to write with and a notebook, or your laptop.

*Shiva Yoga Satsang Community Gathering and Philosophy Discussion is only open to Shiva Yoga teachers, staff, and our monthly membership students and their guests.  Thank you.
